Submit your deposit - Deposits are typically held in an escrow/trust account by one of the attorneys. The deposit will be released at closing or once the contract is terminated.
Inspections take place - Reports typically take between 1-4 business days to get back from the inspectors. We will go through the report with you and give recommendations for potential secondary inspections and a list of repairs to be discussed with your attorney
Negotiations process regarding inspections and repairs between realtors & finalized by lawyers
Work with your lender to obtain a mortgage commitment - No big credit purchases until after closing!
Obtain home insurance
Once a closing date is set, call providers to turn on electric & utilities in your name the day after closing
Schedule a cable appointment for your move in
Final walkthrough of the home & close!
