• Every seller pays a real estate transfer tax. Most times it is not included in estimated closing costs- Reach out and I can calculate yours for you.
• Most banks will not issue a new line of credit on a home that is listed for sale.
• When staging, embrace the 1-2-3-0 Rule for flat surfaces. Nothing on a flat surface is best. But if you do have things out, place either one or two things if they are a pair or 3 items as a group.
• Run through all of the costs before you start the home buying process.
• For first-time buyers, do not buy anything big on credit before you close.
